The Nakupenda sandbar excursion is the top highlight. White sand appears during low tide and completely disappears at high tide. The organizers set up a full lunch spot on the sand out of nowhere. Good quantities of food and kindness.

Two free outings to nearby local places with free water and drinks included. Animation team does great evening shows at the theater, Giada handles the choreographies. Taski the head animator runs the team with passion.

Restaurant buffet changes every day with themed dinners each evening. Always a corner featuring Swahili dishes. One specific night is the Zanzibarina dinner once per week. Food is mostly Italian cuisine but well prepared.

Rooms are in separate bungalows spread on a hill down to the sea. The view from the restaurant over the slope is very nice. Rooms are basic but clean, no TV in the room and no safe but a safe box is available at reception.

Beach has white sand with loungers and a dedicated service run by Alì. Two kitesurf schools are on the beach, one Italian-run and one local. Masai people are present on the grounds but they are friendly and not intrusive. Wi-Fi signal is patchy in some spots.
